Amazing Friends

I have these two truly amazing friends names Josh and Dylan. I have already blogged about them but all of there awesomeness could not fit in to just one post. These boys have such amazing gifts I have seen God really work in there lives. He has made them so kind and loving and has put so much potential in them. Old Photos

My family has lived with my great grandmother for over three years now. When we first moved in I found these super cool old photo albums. They where filled with old dance cards, letters and photos. They look so cool mainly because they are so old. My great grandma is 89 so they are all in black and white.

Something Inspiring for the Day

I bought this book at a book sale and all that's in it is just inspiring quotes. I think it is a super cool book and now I am going to try to put up a new quote that inspires me every day. And I hope they inspire you too.

Worship Night Part Two

For a long time I have had three fears or doubts. Number one was that I was afraid that I gave out love to much to quickly.That no one loved me back. I doubted that my friends loved me . I thought I freaked  everyone out by saying that I loved them. So I went up and asked if my friend Geoff would pray for me. He said yes and as he was praying for me I felt so loved. And then he told me that he thinks God wanted to tell me that I am so loved. Geoff may have thought it was no big deal But it brought me to tears. It meant the world to me. The second fear was. What people thought about me. That people thought that I was a big flirt because I hang out with boys. I wondered why I hung out with the boys? Then I made up my mind to stop hanging out with my guy friends. Until Dylan prayed for me as I told you about in part one. The third fear was that I am not beautiful. I felt ugly and that was why no one loved me.Then my friend Randy came up to me and said. Joanna you are so beautiful. God thinks you are beautiful and never think otherwise. She prayed for me and at the end of the night. I was happy looking in the mirror. For the first time in a long time I felt loved like I had friends a purpose and that I was beautiful. all of my three fears had vanished. In one night because of God.

Worship Night Part One

Last Sunday night I was talking to my youth leader Vanessa about what God has planned for everyone. Ever since then I have been praying that God would tell me what he wants to use me for. That Wednesday night there was a worship night of sorts I went to Church and we did something called a fire tunnel. Everyone on the prayer team lines up on opposite sides and you walk through them as they pray over you. As I was walking through So many times I heard the word Leadership prayed over me. A friend of mine named Cat prayed for me. She told me that God was going to use me to lead people. And she said that I would change people’s attitudes towards curtain things. I was wondering who I was going to lead? Whose minds would I change? Then my friend Dylan prayed for me and he saw me teaching men how to respect women. It made sense ever since I was young I never got along with the girls and so I have got a lot of guy friends. And I will have a chance to minister to them and teach them how to respect women and why they should respect them. And I can lead them in the right direction. So when those men get married they can respect there wives . And if they have sons they can pass that lesson along to them.  

I asked God and he gave me more then I could ever imagine on that night. So many great things that I have to split this into two posts. But it is about time to sum this one up so... Bad things may happen in the world but God always has a plan. You may wonder why God put you on the earth. If you ask him I am sure in time he will show you.

Mumford and Sons!

Well my sister Mae beat me to the punch. She already blogged about this . But I don't care, My sister Rachel just sent her Sigh No More by Mumford and Sons. They are going on a road trip soon and they are buying tons of super good music to listen to on the car ride. I am so lucky because I get to put the stuff they buy on my iPod. I am super stoked.

Cherry Blossoms

In my side yard there is a cherry blossom tree. It as finally started to bloom. It is so beautiful , I love looking at the amazing things that God has made.

I am so tired right now. Today was one of those days where all I want to do is sleep. I just want to crawl in bed and read and then never wake up.

Dylan

Over the past couple if months I have been in need of a friend . God has helped me through it by giving me Dylan. Dylan is the coolest , most creative ,polite boy I know. He has been a true friend to me and I trust his advice and respect him more then all  my other friends. He is a follower of God and he has a blog called  Belly of the Lion and he is homeschooled like me. He is a kindred spirt. And I love him like crazy.

Alice in Wonderland

I found out yesterday that I got the lead role of Alice in the play Alice in Wonderland. I am truly blessed to have gotten the part. This is my 1st lead role but I am looking forward to the challenge.

Grapefruit Ball !

In my backyard we have a grapefruit tree. My family does not eat grapefruit so we use them to play baseball. We had our friends come over and play, the grapefruit chunks fly all over the place. It was a blast and I recommend it to anyone with a grapefruit tree.

Naomi

This is my little sister Naomi. She is only 11 and is already more fashionable then me. A couple of weeks ago I dressed her up and I took pictures and I thought that they where cute.
